    Keloose August 15

    Keloose fun continues with girl’s ball games and canteen on Aug. 15, at the Windsor Junction Community Centre, along with children’s games, Bingo and other games of chance.

    A fishing derby will run from 10 a.m.–5 p.m. for adults and children. There is no entrance fee for this event, and participants can fish from the shore or a boat. The biggest fish wins.

    Later on, Aug. 15, Dave and the Confused will entertain during the Keloose Adult Community Dance at the LWF community hall starting at 9 p.m.

    Keloose Aug 16

    On the last day of the festival, Sunday Aug. 16, the children’s parade begins at 1 p.m., from the Fall River School of Performing Arts to the Windsor Junction Community Centre. Other activities include a bake sale, archive information booth and book sale by the History Club, a canteen, a vision housing booth, with surveys from the Housing Task Group, afternoon water frolics and a chicken supper put on by the Lions Club.

    Wrapping up the celebrations is the Keloose pre-fireworks Talent Show and then the grand finale, the fireworks, which are made possible by Jim Malone and his crew and are always impressive.
