Spin 4 Kids

The annual Spin 4 Kids event will be happening at Goodlife Sackville on March 2nd. Funds raised will support the GoodLife Kids Foundation Grant Program. This program provides
financial support to organizations across Canada providing sustainable physical activity initiatives for kids ages 4 – 14 years to tackle the childhood obesity pandemic. To date almost 200,000 Canadian kids have been positively impacted through physical activity programs funded in part or whole by GoodLife Kids Foundation. You don’t need to be a Goodlife Member to participate. To participate in Spin 4 Kids you either take on the role of Team Captain and recruit a team of 1 – 8 riders or you may join a team. If you are joining a Team your Team Captain will look after team registration with the local event. For more information visit the Spin 4 Kids website.

March Break

With March Break rapidly approaching, don’t forget to post your community events on the Fall River Community Portal. For March Break, we will post events outside the area so everyone can see that there is lots to see and do! Submit the event through the ‘Submit an Event’ page. Once we approve it, it will be there for all to see. Businesses can post their events too, but you need to be a premium member or sponsor of the site. If you don’t have your business listed yet, submit the listing to us through the ‘Submit a Listing’ under the Business directory drop-down. Happy planning!

TapRoot Farms

TapRoot Farms, located in the Annapolis Valley, will be providing weekly CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) veggie and fruit deliveries Saturdays to Fall River, beginning in April 2013 and continuing year-round. See our website for FAQs and to sign up!
